Does any of this sound familiar?

◼ You often hold back and don’t express your true thoughts just to keep the peace.

◼ Saying “no” feels impossible, so you often find yourself overcommitted and overwhelmed.

◼ You doubt yourself and your ability to communicate, replaying past conversations and wishing you’d said something differently – or that you’d uttered anything at all – before the moment had passed.

◼You want calm and harmony in your relationship but feel you are sacrificing too much of yourself and are left feeling unfulfilled.

◼ You feel your own needs are invisible or unimportant and that leads to sadness and a feeling of disconnection in your relationships.

◼ Sometimes you think escaping and being alone is the only way to find peace.

If you are nodding along, know that you dont’ have to figure this out alone.

Your needs matter — let’s talk.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The terms “counseling” and “therapy” are often used interchangeably, and both can help you manage challenges, explore emotions, and make meaningful changes. Some professionals may focus more on short-term solutions, while others dive deeper into patterns and root causes—especially when trauma is involved.

In our work together, we’ll explore your communication and relationship patterns, understand where they come from, and build tools to create lasting change. My style is collaborative—meaning we’ll talk openly about what’s working, what’s not, and whether any additional support might be helpful. If it ever feels like deeper trauma work is needed, we’ll assess that together and, if appropriate, consider connecting with a trauma therapist while continuing our work on day-to-day challenges.

You don’t have to figure that out alone—we’ll navigate it together in a way that feels supportive, thoughtful, and focused on your goals.

  • If you're asking the question, that’s already a sign that something isn’t feeling quite right—and that’s enough. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Maybe you feel overwhelmed in your relationships, find it hard to speak up, or notice you’re constantly second-guessing yourself. Maybe you’re just tired of feeling like you’re carrying the emotional weight for everyone else.

Therapy can give you the space to slow down, make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, and start showing up in your life and relationships in a way that feels more true to you. You don’t have to have it all figured out before starting. We’ll explore it together—gently, step by step.

  • Description text goes here
  • The free 20-minute phone consultation is a chance for us to connect briefly before scheduling your first session. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping to get support with, I’ll share a bit about how I work, and we’ll decide together if it feels like a good fit. There’s no pressure—just an easy conversation to help you feel more comfortable before committing.

The first therapy session is where we begin the real work. We’ll explore more deeply what’s bringing you in, what’s been feeling difficult, and what you’d like to be different. It’s a space for reflection, clarity, and beginning to build a path forward—at a pace that feels right for you.

  • It’s completely normal to feel a little nervous before your first session—especially if you’re not sure what to expect. In our first meeting, we’ll slow things down and take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, what your relationships and daily life feel like right now, and what you hope might be different.

There’s no pressure to share everything all at once. This is your space, and we’ll go at a pace that feels manageable for you. My goal in the first session is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported—while giving you a clear sense of what working together could look like. You don’t have to have the perfect words or a plan. Just come as you are.

  • Though I currenty am paneled with a number of insurance plans, in the near future my practice will change to no longer bill insurance plans directly. I will become an out-of-network provider for some insurance plans. During our 20-minute free consult we can discuss how you may be able to receive reimbursement for your appointments. I will however not bill your insurance directly.

My focus is on providing you quality care and great outcomes, not on insurance billing but I am happy to provide you a special receipt to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

After the change, my fee will be $175 per 50-minute session.

In my practice I see new clients weekly for the first 8 visits with the frequency of subsequent visits determined by the both of us together. The average person takes about 9 months to reach and maintain their optimal level of wellness.
